Intimately linked to our activity as thermohydraulic designers, we have extensive experience in the mechanical design of heat exchangers and pressure vessels using Intergraph PV Elite, in our opinion the most complete software for the mentioned activity. The most demanded design code is ASME Section VIII (Divisions I and II), followed by the British standard PD5500 and to a lesser extent the European norm EN13445. For heat exchangers, in addition to the mechanical design code, we use the TEMA standard for specific configuration elements not covered by the code (baffles, tolerances, etc.). We have extensive experience in the design of high pressure equipment (up to 250 bar-g) and high temperature (up to 600 C), with knowledge in materials (ferrous and non-ferrous) and their optimum selection depending on the application required. In addition to heat exchangers, we have designed chemical reactors, distillation columns, tanks, etc ... We have drafters for the preparation of drawings, and specialist technological partners for the realization of non-static mechanical analysis by means of finite elements (FEA) for situations (fatigue cycles, etc.) in which it is demanded a detailed study.
